Living Arts Gallery in Hawi will feature in August an exhibition of paintings by Hawaii Island artist Francene Hart. The show, “Visions of the Sacred” features a collection of paintings which embody the artist’s reverence for the natural environment, and the interconnectedness between all things. In addition, Hart layers this awareness with the wisdom and symbolic imagery of sacred geometry to create watercolor paintings of beauty and spirit.

A variety of themes will be displayed, including several illustrating love and respect for the oceans with its many moods and inhabitants. Some are figurative and have to do with communication and respect, others honor the planet and the beauty and magic of Hawaii Island.

“I have been incredibly fortunate to experience the alchemy of bringing vision into form,” said Hart. “Once completed these paintings are no longer about me but take on a life of their own. At its most authentic, art may inspire and deeply move the observer. I feel blessed to know that my work touches others and brings them joy. Perhaps it even shifts their consciousness. I am greatly humbled by this path. As my journey continues I seek to create paintings that consciously honor the tenuousness and beauty of life on Mother Earth and our sacred responsibility to treat her and all beings with respect and compassion.”

Hart is an internationally recognized visionary artist whose work has been widely published in books and magazines and hangs in the homes of art collectors and the offices of healers and seekers around the planet. Hart brings forth her visions and lives on the Big Island.

She is artist and author of the Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck and Sacred Geometry Cards for the Visionary Path published by Inner Traditions/Bear &CO. For more information, visit francenehart.com or email francene@francenehart.com.
